Cobian's Indiana Jones Party

Indiana Jones Birthday Party

There was a Giant Adventure Course with Clues throughout the yard to search for the Golden Idol.  Each stop had an adventure or treasure to find.

Across the Crocodile Creek

Across the Rickety Bridge (Yes- they are bring shot at by Nerf Guns)

"Killer Ants"  Rice Bucket filled with hidden surprises inside.  (gummy spiders)

"Monkey Brains"

Watch out for falling boulders....  While being shot at! They had to run through this section of the trees while a big "boulder" (ball was thrown behind them.

In the Snake Pit, they had to go across the snake filled waters.
This was an antedote for the snake filled lake.  They would receive one of these after they crossed.

"Dead Mans Eyeballs" Macademian Nuts in the Shell.  They had to search through the eyeballs to find a treasure.  (ring pops)

The Campfire!  This was just where Indiana was resting on his travels.  We had many antiques from my dad's garage for the background.  We had some old camping tools out and an old shower head.  It was fun setting it up.

This was a piece of the map that was collected during the adventure.  Each stop had a piece of a map
made out of plaster.

The last Clue was hidden in this animal trap and then they had to use a pulley to get the bag down from  this tree. (Again- my dad had an old mail bag and an old pulley - so it worked great for our theme)

Of course they all had to have an Indy Hat.  I bought a bunch of hats at the dollar tree.  They ran out of brown hats, so we had to paint them brown.

Lemonade Break.  Before the Search for Geodes- Each one had to find a geode crystal in the trees.
"Monkey Brains" Spaghetti Noodles - to search for another treasure

Drink Section - "Choose Wisely"

Each child received a journal to take notes.  They kept it in their satchel.

Made these Indy Satchels for all of the kids

Dirt and Worms!  (pudding, oreos, cool whip and gummy worms)
This was a decoy!  I think the last and final stop was under the trampoline in a treasure box filled with
gold coins and treasures.
